What is the product weight used for?

Each product lists its actual weight (in kg). The delivery fee is charged on the shipping weight - the larger of the actual weight and the packed (volume) weight - and the total order weight is rounded up to the nearest 0.5 kg. Where the two differ, the charged shipping weight is shown in the product entry on our knowledge base. If an item is out of stock, the supplier currently has no stock and we do not have a restock date, which may add to delivery time.
